Peabody (BTU) Pushes Coal Segment Higher on Q3 Results, Stronger Outlook (ANR) (ACI)
October 22, 2012 10:01 AM EDTPeabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) is pushing peers higher following solid quarterly numbers and outlook issued earlier.
Sales were $2.06 billion leading to EPS of 51 cents; the Street consensus was at revs of $1.97 billion and earnings of 34 cents per share.

October 22, 2012 8:03 AM EDTPeabody Energy Corp. (NYSE: BTU) reported Q3 EPS of $0.51, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.06 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.97 billion.
Peabody Energy Corp. sees FY2012 EPS of $1.88-2.08, versus the consensus of $1.79.
