Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAM) announced new artificial intelligence capabilities in its Confluence collaboration software that convert text content into visual formats.
The company launched Remix, now in open beta, which allows teams to transform Confluence pages into charts, infographics, and presentation summaries. Users can highlight content such as paragraphs, tables, or documents to generate visual formats including data visualizations, scorecards, and charts.
Atlassian also introduced pre-built partner agents that connect Confluence to third-party tools. Starting April 13, these agents will work with Lovable for UI prototypes, Replit for starter applications, and Gamma for presentations. The agents transfer content and context from Confluence pages directly into partner tools without requiring manual copying or custom integrations.
"With Remix and partner agents in Confluence, a single page becomes the starting point for whatever comes next: a clear story for leaders, a prototype for builders, or a walkthrough for customers, all from the same source of truth," said Sanchan Saxena, SVP, Head of Product, Teamwork Collection, at Atlassian.
The Remix feature maintains connections between visual outputs and original content, with the company's Teamwork Graph suggesting visual formats based on content type and organizational usage patterns. Visuals remain linked to source material without requiring separate tools or exports.
The partner agents operate through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. Administrators can enable partner MCP servers in Atlassian Administration, with agents appearing in teams' Rovo directory within minutes. The system requires no custom scripting for setup.
Atlassian stated that additional partner integrations are planned beyond the initial three announced.
