Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) announced the launch of FactoryTalk Orchestration software at the Automate trade show in Chicago, running June 22–25.
The software is designed to coordinate material flow and production processes across factory operations. Built on the FactoryTalk Optix platform, it connects automated equipment with enterprise and plant systems using real-time production signals. The solution includes integration with OTTO autonomous mobile robots, with additional ecosystem integrations planned.
"As manufacturers continue investing in automation and robotics, the opportunity is shifting from deploying individual technologies to coordinating them across the operation," said Ara Surenian, Production Logistics Business Manager at Rockwell Automation. "FactoryTalk Orchestration software is designed to help manufacturers move from fragmented automation toward more connected, autonomous operations."
According to the company, deployment of the software at Rockwell's Twinsburg, Ohio facility improved drop-off zone space utilization by 70% and reduced overall material handling space requirements by 50%. The company said the solution is expanding to additional Rockwell manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Rockwell is demonstrating the software at Automate in booth S2267, alongside its Emulate3D digital twin software and OTTO AMRs.
