American International Group (AIG) Tops Q2 EPS by 19c
August 4, 2014 4:05 PM EDTAmerican International Group (NYSE: AIG) reported Q2 EPS of $1.25, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.53 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.13 billion.
AIG also updated on its consolidated 2008 Securities litigation:
Between May 21, 2008 and January 15, 2009, eight purported securities class action complaints were filed against AIG and certain directors and officers of AIG and AIGFP, AIGs outside auditors, and the underwriters of various securities offerings in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (the Southern District of New York), alleging claims...
