Downward Revisions Likley for Yum! Brands (YUM) - Goldman
October 9, 2013 9:08 AM EDTLate on Tuesday Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) reported Q3 EPS of $0.85, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.93. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.47 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.53 billion. In the view of Goldman analyst Michael Kelter, the disappointing data suggests Yum! Brands multiple is too high.

Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) reported Q3 EPS of $0.85, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.93. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.47 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.53 billion.
* Worldwide system sales grew 1%, prior to foreign currency translation, including 5% growth at Yum! Restaurants International (YRI). System sales declined 2% in China and were flat in the U.S.
