The misfire is being tied to a mistake at Google's filing company, RR Donnelley. Google stock is currently halted and was down 9 percent before the halt. Google, Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) reported Q3 EPS of $9.03, $1.54 worse than the analyst estimate of $10.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $14.1 billion, which may not compare to the consensus estimate of $11.92 billion. Ex-tac revenues were $11.33 billion.
