July 17, 2024 9:00 AM EDTTesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) future in China faces significant uncertainties, primarily due to the sensitive nature of autonomous technology and its potential dual-use applications, according to Morgan Stanley analysts.
The bank emphasizes that if Tesla or any other U.S. company were to solve the robotaxi problem, "it would be highly unlikely that company would be allowed to offer such technology within the PRC."
