Amazon.com Announces Third Quarter Results
October 27, 2022 4:01 PM EDTSEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2022.
Net sales increased 15% to $127.1 billion in the third quarter, compared with $110.8 billion in third quarter 2021. Excluding the $5.0 billion unfavorable impact from year-over-year changes in foreign exchange rates throughout the quarter, net sales increased 19% compared with third quarter 2021. North America segment sales increased 20% year-over-year to $78.8 billion.
