KeyCorp Reports First Quarter 2020 Net Income Of $118 Million, Or $.12 Per Diluted Common Share
April 16, 2020 6:30 AM EDTCLEVELAND, April 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) today announced net income from continuing operations attributable to Key common shareholders of $118 million, or $.12 per diluted common share for the first quarter of 2020, compared to $439 million, or $.45 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter of 2019 and $386 million, or $.38 per diluted common share, for the first quarter of 2019. Key's results in the first quarter of 2020 reflect the Current Expected Credit Losses ("CECL") accounting methodology, as well as the impact of COVID-19 and market-related valuation adjustments.
