Amphenol (APH) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Revenues Beat; Offers 2Q & FY19 EPS/Revenue Guidance Below Consensus
April 24, 2019 8:03 AM EDTAmphenol (NYSE: APH) reported Q1 EPS of $0.89, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.96 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.94 billion.
Amphenol President and Chief Executive Officer, R. Adam Norwitt, stated, We are very pleased to close the first quarter 2019 with sales and Adjusted Diluted EPS of $1.959 billion and $0.89, respectively. Compared to the first quarter 2018, sales increased 5%, driven by growth across most of the Companys diversified end markets, including military, commercial air, IT datacom, industrial and mobile networks, as well as contributions from the Companys successful...
