1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. Reports Results for Its Fiscal 2019 First Quarter
November 1, 2018 7:15 AM EDTTotal revenues increased 7.7 percent to $169.5 million compared with $157.3 million in the prior year period, driven by double digit growth in the Companys 1-800-Flowers and BloomNet businesses. EPS loss for the quarter was $0.27 per share, compared with a loss of $0.20 per share in the prior year period. The increased EPS loss primarily reflects the impact of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on the Companys effective tax rate, the adoption of ASC1 606 and the timing of certain shipments in the Companys Gourmet Foods and Gift Baskets segment....
