Alphabet Inc.'s Google (GOOG) Narrows Gap on Amazon (AMZN) in Global Smart Speaker Market in 2Q18 -Strategy Analytics
August 13, 2018 10:37 AM EDTAccording to the latest quarterly research from Strategy Analytics, Amazons (NASDAQ: AMZN) global smart speaker share of shipments fell to 41% in Q2 2018 from 44% in Q1 and 76% in Q2 2017. By contrast Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) has increased its share to 28% in Q2 2018, up from 16% during the same period last year.
