General Dynamics Reports Second-Quarter 2017 Results

Operating earnings up 2.8% to $1.1 billion Operating margin of 13.8%, a 60 basis-point improvement Earnings from continuing operations up 4.9% to $749 million Diluted earnings per share up 6.5% to $2.45General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) today reported second-quarter 2017 diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.45 compared to $2.30 in the year-ago quarter, a 6.5 percent increase. Net earnings were $749 million, on revenue of $7.7 billion.
