MANITOWOC, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (NYSE: MTW) (Manitowoc) today reported fourth-quarter 2016 net sales of $378.2 million versus $543.1 million in the comparable period in 2015.
On a GAAP basis, the Company reported a net loss of ($33.4) million, or ($0.24) per diluted share, in the fourth-quarter 2016 versus net income of $43.5 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, in the fourth-quarter 2015. The Companys loss from continuing operations in the fourth-quarter 2016 and 2015 was ($32.0) million and ($12.9) million, respectively.
