January 18, 2017 5:46 PM ESTROSEMONT, Ill., Jan. 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust or the Company) (Nasdaq: WTFC) announced net income of $54.6 million or $0.94 per diluted common share for the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to net income of $53.1 million or $0.92 per diluted common share for the third quarter of 2016 and $35.5 million or $0.64 per diluted common share for the fourth quarter of 2015. The Company recorded net income of $206.9 million or $3.66 per diluted common share for the year ended 2016 compared to net income of $156.7 million or $2.93 per diluted common share for the same period of 2015.
