Worthington Reports Second Quarter Fiscal 2017 Results
December 19, 2016 5:17 PM ESTCOLUMBUS, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 12/19/16 -- Worthington Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WOR) today reported net sales of $727.8 million and net earnings of $46.6 million, or $0.72 per diluted share, for its fiscal 2017 second quarter ended November 30, 2016. Net earnings in the quarter included pre-tax restructuring charges totaling $3.3 million. The after-tax impact of these charges reduced earnings per diluted share by $0.03. In the second quarter of fiscal 2016, the Company reported net sales of $699.8 million and net earnings of $23.4 million, or $0.36 per diluted share.
