Allergan's (AGN) Quarter Not Strong Enough to Support Price Target - PiperJaffray
February 23, 2016 8:23 AM ESTAllergan (NYSE: AGN) posted a solid 4Q leading Piper Jaffray analyst, David Amsellem, to reiterate his Overweight rating but trim his price target as estimates roll forward.
AGN reported non-GAAP diluted EPS of $3.41 on revenues of $4.2B, versus the Street estimates of $3.36 and $4.2B. Performance across several key product franchises remained strong, with total brand revenue in 4Q15 growing by 11% over 4Q14 (excluding foreign exchange headwinds and the erosion of the immediate-release form of Namenda due to generics).

Allergan's revenue beats on higher U.S. brand sales
February 22, 2016 7:46 AM EST(Reuters) - Allergan Plc (NYSE: AGN) reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue, helped by strong performance in its U.S. brands segment, and said it continues to expect its takeover by Pfizer Inc (NYSE: PFE) to close in the second half 2016.
The company's shares rose 3.2 percent to $284.
Allergan said revenue in its U.S. brands business rose 38 percent to about $2.5 billion in the quarter ended Dec. 31, accounting for 58.7 percent of total revenue.
