Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is on watch today as pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus start.

So far availability at Apple.com looks good for the 4.7-inch models, while dates for the 5.5-inch model are being pushed out.

At this time, the 4.7-inch model deliveries are being promised by 9/19 for all carriers. Meanwhile, at this time, dates for the larger 5.5-inch model are "available to ship" in 7-10 days for the 16GB at AT&T and Verizon in all finishes. Sprint is "available to ship" in 3-4 weeks for the 5.5-inch model in all finishes and sizes. Also, AT&T and Verizon are showing 3-4 weeks for the larger 64GB and 128GB sizes in the 5.5-inch model.

The devices go on sale in stores across the country on September 19.

UPDATE: The 16GB model is now sold out in all finishes and showing 3-4 weeks at all carriers.
