Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Issues Q2 Profit Outlook

Norwegian Cruise Line (NASDAQ: NCLH) reported Q1 EPS of $0.23, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $664 million versus the consensus estimate of $683.28 million.
"Our strong results in the quarter include an almost four-fold increase in earnings on an adjusted basis," said Kevin Sheehan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. "With both Breakaway class ships now in our fleet, it is easy to appreciate the impact of their impressive earnings power, which includes commanding double-digit premiums over other Norwegian ships in the same itinerary," continued Sheehan.
Norwegian Cruise Line sees Q2 2014 EPS of $0.55-$0.60, versus the consensus of $0.57.
Norwegian Cruise Line sees FY2014 EPS of $2.20-$2.35, versus the consensus of $2.26.
