Reports out late last Friday had Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) selling over one million Xbox One units within its first 24-hours of availability.

Notably, the Xbox One launched in 13 markets, while Sony (Nasdaq: SNE) released its PlayStation 4 console in just the U.S. and Canada at launch. Sony also said that over one million units were sold in the first 24 hours. The PS4 will expand into Europe, Australia, and South America on November 29th and move to Japan in February.
One analyst from Baird sees unit shipments of 2.5 million to 3.0 million in Q4.
Microsoft is up nearly 0.7 percent Monday morning.
