Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone 8 platform and Nokia Corp. (NYSE: NOK) scored a win today.
The official Windows Phone store is now carrying the Instagram app.
While chatter that the app would make its way onto windows phone has been ongoing, the actual event means that WP8 is becoming that much bigger of a player in the smartphone segment. With Windows 8.1 recently be released to fix many user complaints, getting more apps on its mobile platform will be key to attracting more users.
