Jefferies cut estimates and its price target on Norfolk Southern (NYSE: NSC) following the Q2 earnings miss, primarily related to weakness in coal. The firm maintained a Buy rating, saying the company remains on track as it continues to rightsize its network for the changing demand level.

Q3 EPS goes from $1.43 to $1.37, FY 2013 EPS goes from $5.61 to $5.53 and FY 2014 EPS goes from $6.34 to $6.26.
