- General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) $27.91. GM offered to buyback 200 million shares from the Treasury at $27.50 per share. Shares popped 9.5 percent to nearly $28 on the sentiment.
- Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) high of $34.35. Oracle reported a second-quarter 2013 earnings beat on Tuesday night. Shares moved 4.4 percent higher to the new mark.
- Citigroup (NYSE: C) high of $40.11. Citi higher following a Morgan Stanley upgrade to Overweight earlier on the session. Citi has been strong as shares crossed above the $39 level a few sessions back.
- Oncothyreon Inc. (Nasdaq: ONTY) low of $1.72. Oncothyreon slammed 62 percent as it reported that its pivotal START trial missed its primary endpoint. For more color, click here.
- Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) low of $36.02. Herbalife slammed as CNBC reported that notorious hedge fund titan Bil Ackman was short the stock.
- Eagle Bulk Shipping, Inc. (Nasdaq: EGLE) low of $1.42. For the most part, the dry bulk segment is seeing some pressure with the Baltic Dry Index off about 23 points today. According to data from Bloomberg, the Index is down 57.3 percent for 2012.
