Preordering for Nokia's (NOK) Lumia Line Begins in China

December 11, 2012 2:40 PM EST
Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is up on the session Tuesday as the Espoo, Finland-based mobile device giant has started taking pre-orders for its Lumia 920T in China.

News comes as Nokia and China Mobile (NYSE: CHL) inked a deal recently to bring the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone 8 smartphone to market.

According to TheVerge, the Lumia 920 will run about $736, the Lumia 820 at $560, and Lumia 620 at $318. Pricing on the lowest device was previously speculated to be $250, meaning taxes and tariffs could be hitting the price.

Shares of Nokia are up 3.4 percent with average volume today.
