Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (LPX) Misses Q3 EPS by 6c

Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (NYSE: LPX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.20, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $468 million versus the consensus estimate of $479.29 million.

Outlook:

"While housing signs look very favorable, we are certainly cognizant of potential headwinds including a slowing global economy, an uncertain political and fiscal environment and slow job creation,” CEO Curt Stevens continued. “Our plan is to do what is necessary to be ready to satisfy increasing demand for our products which emerges within this broader context and respond accordingly."
