- Radian Group, Inc. (NYSE: RDN) $5.47. Radian Group reported profit of 11 cents per share, which included items. The Company posted profit of $1.37 in the same period last year, which also include cerain items.
- Rentech, Inc. (AMEX: RTK) high of $2.79. Rentech getting a push higher after announcing its majority-owned subsidiary, Rentech Nitrogen Partners, L.P. (NYSE: RNF), has entered into a definitive agreement with Agrifos Holdings Inc. to purchase all of the membership interests of Agrifos LLC, for an initial purchase price of $158 million.
Shares up over 8 percent on the session to the new mark today.
- Visa (NYSE: V) high of $144.20. Visa beat third-quarter earnings expectations by five cents per share, while revs of $2.73 billion also topped expectations. The company approved a new $1.5 billion buyback plan.
- Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX) high of $63.98. Baxter trading higher after announcing an exclusive 20-year partnership with Hemobrás (Empresa Brasileira de Hemoderivados e Biotechnologia) to provide hemophilia patients in Brazil greater access to recombinant factor VIII (rFVIII) therapy for the treatment of hemophilia A.

- Western Union Co. (NYSE: WU) low of $12.25. Western Union following third-quarter results earlier this week, Goldman Sachs downgraded Western Union to Neutral today. For more on the call, click here.
- Abiomed, Inc. (Nasdaq: ABMD) low of $13.12. Abiomed shares dropping over 33 percent after disclosing that were informed that the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia is conducting an investigation that is focused on the Company’s marketing and labeling of the Impella 2.5.
- Pain Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PTIE) low of $2.92. Pain Therapeutics down over 37 percent after chatter surfaced that Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) noted "problems" lingering with FDA on the re-file of REMOXY. Pfizer held a quarterly conference call Thursday.
- Faro Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: FARO) low of $31.99. FARO missed third-quarter EPS expectations by 14 cents per share with revs of $60.7 million also light. Shares fell just over 20 percent to the new mark Thursday,
