Under Armour (UA) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c; Boosts FY Guidance to High End

Under Armour (NYSE: UA) reported Q3 EPS of $0.54, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $575.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $575.4 million.

Under Armour sees FY2012 revenue of $1.82 billion, versus prior guidance of $1.80-1.82 billion and the consensus of $1.83 billion. They see 2012 operating income of approximately $207 million, representing growth of 27%, versus its prior view of $205 million to $207 million.

Kevin Plank, Chairman, CEO, and President of Under Armour, Inc., stated, "The third quarter marks our twelfth consecutive quarter with apparel growth in excess of 20% and our tenth consecutive quarter of net revenues growth surpassing 20%."
