Hanesbrands (HBI) Tops Q3 EPS by 4c, Trims Guidance

Hanesbrands (NYSE: HBI) reported Q3 EPS of $1.11, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $1.07. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.22 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.22 billion.

Hanesbrands sees FY2012 EPS of $2.54-2.60, versus prior guidance of $2.50-2.60 and the consensus of $2.56. Hanesbrands sees FY2012 revenue of $4.52 million, versus prior guidance of $4.52-4.57 million and the consensus of $4.54 million.

Hanesbrands sees Q4 2012 EPS of $1.00-1.06, versus the consensus of $1.07. Hanesbrands sees Q4 2012 revenue of $1.13-1.17 million, versus the consensus of $1.16 million.

The company continues to believe that a reasonable estimate of EPS potential in 2013 is in the low $3 range.
