Beam, Inc. (BEAM) Tops Q2 EPS by 4c; Comps Up 5%

Beam, Inc. (NYSE: BEAM) reported Q2 EPS of $0.58, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $595.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $583.18 million.

On a comparable basis, which adjusts for foreign exchange and acquisitions/divestitures, net sales were up 5% for the second quarter
