Spectrum Brands (SPB) Tops Q1 EPS by 8c; Looks for FY12 Revs to Outpace GDP Growth

Spectrum Brands Holdings (NYSE: SPB) reported Q1 EPS of $0.69, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $848.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $880.64 million.

The Company expects fiscal 2012 net sales to increase at or above the rate of GDP.
