Canadian Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ) reported Q3 EPS of ($1.02), $0.63 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.39). Revenue for the quarter came in at $499.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $496.9 million.
olar module shipments were 355 MW, compared to 287 MW in Q2 2011.
For the fourth quarter of 2011, shipments are expected to be in the range of approximately 340 MW to 360 MW, with gross margin expected to be between 5% and 8%.
