American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) Misses Q2 EPS by 1c; Guides Q3, Cuts FY11 Outlook

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE: AEO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.10, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $676 million versus the consensus estimate of $650.78 million.

Same-store sales were flat.

Sees Q3 EPS of 22-27c, which compares to the Street estimate of 26c.

Cuts its FY11 EPS outlook from about $1.02 to 85-95c, which compares to the Street estimate of 93c.
