Vivakor outlines midstream asset network in Southwestern U.S.
Vivakor, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVK) outlined the scope of its midstream infrastructure network across several U.S. oil-producing basins, according to a company statement issued June 17, 2026.
The Dallas-based company operates oil terminals, trucking fleets, pipeline injection stations, and crude oil pipeline infrastructure across the Permian, Delaware, Haynesville, and Eagle Ford basins, with assets located in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Vivakor's network includes 10 pipeline injection stations in Texas and New Mexico, supported by a fleet of more than 100 tanker trucks. The company's Texas pipeline connections include the Centurion Pipeline, Plains Basin Pipeline, Cactus II, Permian Express, and the West Texas System operated by Enterprise.
The company also operates the White Claw crude oil terminal in Colorado City, Texas, with 120,000 barrels of storage capacity connected to the Enterprise Pipeline and Scurry Gathering System. Its Omega Terminal in Oklahoma holds 100,000 barrels of storage capacity and is connected to Cushing, Oklahoma through the Omega Pipeline and Plains Pipeline network.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James Ballengee said, "Periods of elevated crude oil volatility typically increase the importance of strategically located transportation, storage, and pipeline-connected infrastructure across domestic oil producing regions."
The company noted that crude oil markets have experienced volatility during 2026, with Brent crude prices rising amid geopolitical tensions and supply concerns in the Middle East. Vivakor referenced analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas indicating that U.S. drilling activity tends to accelerate when oil prices exceed the $70 to $80 per barrel range.
