RLI Corp. promotes Kevin Brownell to VP of Claim operations

RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) has promoted Kevin Brownell from Assistant Vice President to Vice President, Claim, according to a company statement. In his new role, Brownell will lead executive oversight of RLI's Casualty claim operations.

Brownell joined RLI in 2018 as Claim Director and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Claim in 2023. He brings more than 25 years of insurance claims and legal experience to the position.

Chief Operating Officer Jen Klobnak said Brownell's contributions have helped strengthen RLI's Casualty claim operations. "We are confident he will continue to build on that success in his new role," she added.

Brownell holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
