PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT) has appointed Scott Sauer to its Board of Trustees, the company announced in a press release.
Sauer brings more than 30 years of financial sector experience to the role, including nearly two decades as an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP. During his tenure at Deloitte, he specialized in financial transformations, public offerings, and mergers for clients in the banking, fintech, and asset management sectors.
Sauer also serves on the Board of Directors for the West Point Association of Graduates, where he chairs both the Audit and Compensation Committees and serves as vice-chair of the Finance Committee. He holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors. He earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Seattle University.
