Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR) announced a new service called AI Xploit Shield, designed to protect web applications and APIs from exploitation of newly discovered vulnerabilities while software patches are being tested and deployed.
The service uses AI models to automatically generate, test, and deploy protections tailored to each organization's applications and environment. Delivered through virtual patching, the protections are intended to block exploitation attempts without modifying the underlying application or software.
According to the company, traditional virtual patching relies on generic signatures or manually created rules, whereas AI Xploit Shield generates customer-specific protections at scale and in near real time.
Radware Chief Operating Officer Gabi Malka said in a statement: "Organizations cannot depend on patching alone. They need a way to quickly translate vulnerability intelligence into protection while remediation efforts are underway."
The service is designed to cover cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Radware said AI Xploit Shield expands its existing AI-powered cloud security platform, which also provides security for AI agents and AI-powered applications.
The announcement, based on a company press release, did not disclose pricing or availability dates for the new service.
