Taboola (NASDAQ: TBLA) announced it is opening its DeeperDive monetization engine to generative AI companies, including those offering conversational AI, chatbots, and virtual assistants, allowing these platforms to generate advertising revenue from user queries.
DeeperDive is a generative AI answer engine embedded across publisher websites that converts editorial content into interactive conversational experiences. The platform inserts targeted ads directly into AI-powered results pages. Taboola's ad platform, called Realize, drives demand from tens of thousands of advertisers to the ads appearing on DeeperDive.
According to the company, DeeperDive generates tens of millions of AI-powered answers each month for more than 7 million users, using large language models, retrieval systems, and Taboola's proprietary intent graph. The platform runs on NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure.
As an example of how the system works, Taboola said a user asking an AI platform about buying a home could be shown a relevant mortgage advertisement likely to result in a conversion.
"The future of the internet will be increasingly conversational and agentic. While AI companies have made incredible progress building products consumers love, many are still looking for sustainable business models," said Adam Singolda, CEO of Taboola. "Consumers won't subscribe to every AI service they use, creating a significant opportunity for advertising and commerce to help fund innovation."
Taboola said it plans to highlight the announcement at Cannes Lions 2026.
