UFC partners with World Liberty Financial for $250,000 athlete bonus pool

UFC announced that World Liberty Financial will serve as an official partner of UFC FREEDOM 250, an event scheduled for June 14 on the grounds of the White House in Washington, D.C.

World Liberty Financial will sponsor a $250,000 Performance of the Night bonus pool for UFC athletes. The bonuses will be paid in USD1, the company's U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, and will be awarded in addition to traditional Performance of the Night bonuses from UFC President Dana White.

The USD1 payouts will be separate from a previously announced $1 million bonus pool from Crypto.com for Fight of the Night competitors. World Liberty Financial branding will appear in the Octagon and broadcast coverage reaching an estimated 1 billion households across 210 countries and territories.

UFC FREEDOM 250 will feature UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria facing interim champion Justin Gaethje in the main event. The co-main event showcases former middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira against former interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane.

UFC is part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO) and produces more than 40 live events annually. The organization reports having more than 700 million fans and approximately 363 million social media followers.
