Marti ride-hailing service hits 4.3 million riders, exceeds targets

Marti Technologies Inc. (NYSE American: MRT) reported that its ride-hailing service reached 4.30 million riders and 532,000 registered drivers as of June 11, 2026, surpassing its June 30, 2026 targets of 4.30 million riders and 530,000 registered drivers.
The Turkish mobility company said its ride-hailing rider base grew 96% from June 11, 2025 to June 11, 2026, while registered drivers increased 68% during the same period.
Marti set new targets of 4.90 million riders and 580,000 registered drivers by September 30, 2026.
Of Marti's 532,000 registered drivers, 351,000 operate in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city, compared to 20,000 taxis serving the city. The company's ride-hailing operations now span 20 markets across Turkey, covering approximately 80% of the country's GDP.
The proportion of Marti's riders based outside Istanbul grew from 35% to 44% over the last twelve months, while the share of registered drivers outside Istanbul increased from 24% to 34%.
McKinsey & Company estimates Turkey's taxi market size at $9 billion to $12 billion as of 2021, with the potential Turkish ride-hailing market projected to reach $15 billion to $20 billion by 2030 under a "Disruptive Scenario."
Founded in 2018, Marti operates ride-hailing services, delivery services, and a fleet of rental e-mopeds, e-bikes and e-scooters in Turkey.
