Getty Images (NYSE: GETY) has renewed its multi-year agreement with U.S. Soccer to continue serving as the organization's official photographic agency. The renewal positions Getty Images to provide comprehensive coverage leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Under the agreement, Getty Images will capture and distribute imagery from U.S. Soccer matches, programming and events involving the U.S. Women's and Men's National Teams, Youth National Teams and Extended National Teams. The company will provide rights-cleared visual content for broadcast, digital, commercial and editorial use.
Getty Images will cover the U.S. Men's National Team during the FIFA World Cup 2026, with all imagery exclusively available on gettyimages.com. U.S. Soccer retains copyright ownership while benefiting from Getty Images' global distribution and licensing platform. The Federation's historical catalog will be made available on Getty Images' platform over time.
"As U.S. Soccer heads into a home World Cup, the scale, speed and accuracy of its visual coverage become critical," said Michael Heiman, Getty Images' Vice President of Global Sport. "This partnership ensures U.S. Soccer has a single, trusted system for capturing and delivering verified, rights-cleared content across all U.S. Soccer matches and events."
Getty Images partners with more than 125 sports leagues, governing bodies and clubs worldwide, covering over 50,000 sporting events annually. The company provides editorial sports content and commercial imagery for global distribution.
The partnership renewal comes as the United States prepares to co-host the FIFA World Cup 2026, which is expected to generate increased visibility for U.S. soccer programs.
