OSI Systems secures $12 million order for electronic sub-assemblies

OSI Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division received an order valued at approximately $12 million to supply electronic sub-assemblies to a leading original equipment manufacturer in the secure communications industry.
The Hawthorne, California-based company will provide the electronic components through its existing customer relationship. OSI Systems President and Chief Executive Officer Ajay Mehra stated the company remains focused on delivering high-quality electronic sub-assemblies at scale, supported by execution and a global manufacturing footprint.
OSI Systems operates through three business segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare. The Optoelectronics and Manufacturing segment serves as a supplier of optoelectronic solutions and precision manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers.
The company designs and manufactures specialized electronic systems and components for critical applications, serving customers in over 170 countries with sales, service, research and development, and manufacturing capabilities positioned worldwide.
