Oracle plans $40 billion financing for AI cloud infrastructure expansion

Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) announced plans to raise approximately $40 billion in fiscal year 2027 through debt and equity financing to fund its AI cloud infrastructure expansion program.
The financing will include Oracle's previously announced $20 billion at-the-market equity issuance. The company stated it does not expect to issue additional debt in calendar year 2026.
Oracle raised $43 billion in debt financing and $5 billion in equity financing during fiscal year 2026, according to the company's statement. The capital investment program supports what Oracle described as "unprecedented opportunities in AI Cloud Infrastructure."
The financing details were outlined during Oracle's recent Financial Analyst Meeting, where the company presented its capital investment strategy for artificial intelligence cloud services.
