S k y Co., a Japanese technology company, has deployed HPE Private Cloud AI to accelerate AI development while maintaining strict data governance, according to a statement from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE).
The turnkey AI factory solution was delivered in one month and enables S k y to use sensitive data for AI applications on-premises. The deployment is part of the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio.
S k y Co. specializes in software development and system integration across enterprise and embedded systems. The company enforces strict data governance policies and limits use of public cloud AI services due to the sensitive nature of data it manages.
"We selected HPE Private Cloud AI for its ability to rapidly deliver a stable, on-premises environment that enables both security and AI use," said Junji Oura, president of S k y Co.
HPE Private Cloud AI integrates servers, storage, networking, accelerated computing, services, and software into a single platform. S k y Co. has also adopted HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions, which provides pay-as-you-go consumption to optimize costs and enable flexible scaling.
The solution allows organizations to use sensitive data on-premises while providing a cloud-like operational experience for AI development and deployment.
S k y Co. plans to advance AI capabilities toward AI agents, expand AI adoption in contract development, and grow its system integration business with the new environment.
The company was founded in 1985 and provides software development, system integration services, and solutions for IT asset management across multiple industries.
