Investing.com -- Emirates anticipates receiving its first Boeing 777X aircraft by May or June 2027, the airline's president Tim Clark said on Tuesday at an industry conference in Berlin.
The delivery would come 14 years after Emirates led the initial wave of orders for the aircraft. Development of the GE-powered plane has faced years of delays, partly due to certification issues.
Clark told reporters that while complications could still arise, the 777X program is "in good shape." Emirates is the world's largest buyer of wide-body aircraft.
