UBS analyst Arpine Kocharyan reiterated a Neutral rating and $139.00 price target on Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN).
The analyst commented, "Vail reported broadly in line quarter, with pass sales showing slowdown in May vs. what the company had reported as of April 19. With pass units down -10%, and dollar sales down -5%, lift business needs to see 10%+ growth for the season for revenues to be broadly flattish. Without specific guidance for FY'27, Vail seems to be counting on growth for next year, with visitation recovery back to FY'25 levels. This outlook seems to be relying on stronger lift visitation and improvement in pass product sales in the fall, assuming more normalized weather patterns. We note consensus is already there, with +18% YOY EBITDA growth YOY for FY'27 and visitation at 17.51 million vs. 17.66 million in FY'25."
