SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) announced the appointment of Sneha Shah as Chief AI Strategist and Head of SEI Next, the company's innovation unit. The financial services technology provider also named Michael Tryniszewski as Head of AI Orchestration and William Coffey as Chief Data Officer.
Shah will lead SEI's enterprise AI strategy and guide decisions on building, acquiring and partnering to expand the company's portfolio. She will also work to translate emerging technologies into business value and accelerate innovation across client experience and AI data services.
Tryniszewski will oversee AI implementation across SEI's product, technology, operations, risk and compliance units. Reporting to Shah, he will focus on integrating AI into the company's operations and client value delivery at enterprise scale.
Coffey will lead SEI's enterprise data strategy and develop a unified data and AI framework. Reporting to Chief Technology Officer Zach Womack, he will manage the activation of SEI's data assets, including market assessment, packaging offerings and defining pricing models.
"AI is no longer optional for financial services firms; it's a strategic accelerant that requires clarity, accountability, and long-term vision," said CEO Ryan Hicke in a statement.
Tryniszewski brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise transformation across regulated organizations, including senior roles at Takeda where he led data and AI initiatives. Coffey previously served as Chief Risk and Data Officer at AKUVO and held senior positions at WSFS Bank and Vanguard.
Shah has over 25 years of experience in strategy, innovation and enterprise transformation, with previous roles at London Stock Exchange Group, Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters. She joined SEI in 2023 and has been developing the company's AI-native operating model.
SEI manages, advises or administers approximately $1.9 trillion in assets as of March 31, 2026, according to the company statement.
