GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: GEHC) will present enterprise imaging solutions at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh.
The company plans to showcase Genesis Radiology Workspace, a cloud-enabled platform that includes View, an FDA 510(k)-cleared diagnostic viewer. The system allows radiologists to access imaging studies remotely and includes automated display of current and prior studies.
GE HealthCare subsidiary Intelerad will demonstrate InteleShare, a cloud-based medical image exchange platform designed for multi-facility healthcare environments. The platform features native electronic health record integration and automated workflows.
"The future of enterprise imaging depends on connected, cloud-enabled solutions that improve access, collaboration, and efficiency," said Scott Miller, CEO of Solutions for Enterprise Imaging at GE HealthCare.
The American College of Radiology has identified radiologist workforce shortages as the primary challenge facing radiology for three consecutive years, according to the company's press release. Medical imaging departments face increasing case volumes and complexity while dealing with staffing constraints.
Genesis Radiology Workspace is currently available in the United States and United Kingdom. The platform includes Genesis View, Workflow Manager, and Enterprise Archive components.
GE HealthCare operates as a $20.6 billion healthcare solutions provider with approximately 54,000 employees. The company provides medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and software solutions across Advanced Imaging Solutions, Patient Care Solutions, and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics segments.
The company will exhibit at booth 313 while Intelerad will be located at booth 305 during the conference.
