OSI Systems wins $10 million cargo inspection contract in North America

OSI Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced its Security division received an order valued at approximately $10 million to deploy cargo non-intrusive inspection systems in North America. The contract includes installation, training and lifecycle support services.
The Hawthorne, California-based company will provide inspection systems designed to enhance security infrastructure for cargo screening operations. The order represents part of the company's security technology business segment.
"This order reflects the growing momentum we are seeing in the marketplace for expanding security infrastructure with non-intrusive inspection solutions," said Ajay Mehra, OSI Systems' president and chief executive officer. "Customers continue to value our ability to deliver flexible, high-performance systems that support efficient and secure inspection operations."
OSI Systems operates through three business segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare. The Security division develops inspection systems and screening solutions for infrastructure protection. The company serves customers in over 170 countries through its global sales, service, research and development, and manufacturing operations.
