AutoNation acquires Toyota of Newnan for $200 million in annual revenue

AutoNation Inc. (NYSE: AN) announced its acquisition of Toyota of Newnan, effective June 8, 2026. The dealership has been renamed AutoNation Toyota Newnan and generates approximately $200 million in annual revenue with 4,900 retail new and used vehicle annual unit sales.
The acquisition marks AutoNation's 21st Toyota store nationwide and its third Toyota location in Georgia. With this addition, AutoNation operates 19 locations in Georgia, including one premium luxury store, two domestic stores, 11 import stores, three collision centers, one AutoNation USA store, and one auction center.
"I am delighted to be adding another Toyota Franchise to our portfolio, and welcoming our new colleagues to AutoNation," said Mike Manley, Chief Executive Officer. "This acquisition reflects our approach to growth through the addition of great assets in great markets, building density which yields additional group synergies and drives value creation for our shareholders."
According to the company, AutoNation was the largest Toyota dealer in the U.S. by new vehicle sales volume combined for Toyota and Lexus brands in 2025. The information is based on a press release statement from AutoNation.
