Omnicell names Dan Mandoli to lead specialty pharmacy business

Omnicell Inc. (NASDAQ: OMCL) appointed Dan Mandoli as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Services, the healthcare technology company announced.
Mandoli brings more than 30 years of experience in pharmacy operations and specialty pharmacy services. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Altruix, where he led specialty pharmacy operations and drove growth initiatives.
Prior to Altruix, Mandoli was President of Specialty Pharmacy at Elevance Health, where he managed strategy, operations, and expansion of a specialty pharmacy business. He also held senior leadership positions at Express Scripts, including leading Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, and served as a Senior Advisor for McKinsey & Company's pharmacy practice.
"Specialty Pharmacy and 340B services are anticipated to be key growth drivers for Omnicell and central to enabling our ability to deliver more value to health systems while improving patient outcomes," said Nnamdi Njoku, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Omnicell, according to the company's press release.
The appointment is part of Omnicell's strategy to scale and grow its specialty pharmacy and 340B businesses. The company provides medication management technology and automation solutions to healthcare facilities.
Mandoli holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. Omnicell, founded in 1992, develops pharmacy and nursing solutions for healthcare settings and is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
